Sensible Health Initiatives (SHI) recently participated in the Health and Wellness Spectacular in East Tampa, along with notable organizations such as AARP and the City of Tampa. This outdoor health fair was held in Woodland Terrace Park and focused on fitness and education to engage the community in wellness activities. Participants enjoyed a morning walk around the park with stops at various partner tables, including SHI's. Our main objective was to raise awareness about diabetes management and prevention, which is crucial for the health of Florida. Key partners like Tampa Fire Rescue and the American Heart Association also contributed to the event's educational impact. This three-hour event highlighted SHI's commitment to health education and community involvement. We are proud to have had the opportunity to be involved.
